Social Program
The MWP2009 reception cocktail is the best moment to connect with old friends, make new acquaintances and catch up with the microwave photonics community over nice Mediterranean canapés and surrounded by the sea scape and the close leisure harbor. Reception cocktail will be held Wednesday 14th at 19.30 (to be confirmed in the final program.) Admittance is included with the conference registration. Extra tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased at the registration booth.
The MWP2009 banquet includes a nice Mediterranean dinner and the awards presentation. Gala dinner will be held Thursday 15th at 20.30 (to be confirmed int he final program.) Tickets for conference attendees can be purchased on-line/on-site for 60 Eur. Extra tickets for accompanying persons may be purchased at the registration booth.
Reception cocktail and gala dinner will be held at Hotel Balneario Las Arenas. The hotel is located in a privileged place in front of the sea shore, at Las Arenas and La Malvarrosa beaches', and close to the leisure harbor, with all the elegance and comfort of a modern design. Taking as a the original basis the architectonic model of the pavilions of the former Balneario Las Arenas founded 1898, that held the beach resort, this building of classic style becomes a reference to all people visiting Valencia.
The hotel will be connected with the conference venue by a bus service. You can also reach there by the tram/metro system, line 4 headed towards Dr. Lluch at Las Arenas/Les Arenes stop.
