Microwave photonics brings together the worlds of radiofrequency engineering and optoelectronics, attracting great interest from both the researchers and the commercial sector over the past 20 years with a promising future. The advantages of optical systems can be esploited to perform a variety of processing signal functions in the radiofrequency domain, and open new and exciting possibilities to be explored in the field.
The 2009 International Topical Meeting on Microwave photonics will be an exciting forum, as one of the world’s major events in the field, for new results and developments in microwave photonics field.
Valencia is a charming old city and the capital of the Old Kingdom of Valencia province of Spain that is well worth a visit. It is located on the Mediterranean Sea approximately four hours to the south of Barcelona and three hours to the east of Madrid.
